Cardiovascular impact of near complete estrogen deprivation in premenopausal women with breast cancer: The CROWN study

Study design

CROWN (CaRdiac Outcomes With Near-complete estrogen deprivation) studies the cardiovascular effects of combined ovarian suppression and aromatase inhibitor therapy. The published design describes serial cardiac MRI and CT imaging over two years, with a comparison group of premenopausal women whose breast cancer treatment does not involve near-complete estrogen deprivation.
